Vegas Bound: March 2020

It’s POOL SEASON! Spring has sprung all over our lovely valley and our favorite pools are in session. Along with double the entertainment & relaxation options with our pools open, St. Patricks day is coming in HOT! This is one of my favorite times to be in Vegas for 2020 so I can not wait to get the festivities started.

Let’s get started with the weather. This month is a bit up in the air, we started with perfect 70 degree days, and have started wavering into a much colder rainy 50’s and 60’s (that’s cold to me). Weather data pulled from Accuweather.com. Here’s what’s happening in Las Vegas this March:

Concert Events (not nightclub):

Family Fun:

  • Kids Community Day: 14March
    • Sat, March 14, 11AM – 2PM @ Tivoli Village
    • Families are invited to join us for a day full of memories and fun at this FREE community event! There will be raffles, food, music, story-time, crafts and more!
  • Family Festival – Galleria Mall: 21March
    • Sat, Mar 21, 10AM-4PM
    • This day-long festival features activities and entertainment for the entire family. Kid-Friendly vendors, crafts, games, and activities.

  • Paw Patrol Night at Lazy Dog Restaurant Downtown Summerlin: 31March
    • Tue, March 31, 5PM – 7PM @ Lazy Dog Restaurant
    • Dine on the patio, play games and create your own pup badges! First 50 kids eat free and they are giving away a family pack of tickets to see Paw Patrol is on a roll at the Orleans Arena.

  • Monat Monarchs Hike: 15March
    • Calico Basin Trail Sunday, March 15th at 11AM
    • Meet with the Monat Monarchs and spend a fun day making new friends, catching a vibe, and working on your health and fitness goals with an amazing squad!
  • Las Vegas Women’s Day Out Expo: 21March
    • Sat, March 21 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM  @ Santa Fe Station
    • Get informed, empowered and enlightened after a Psychic Reading, free workshops and seminars, women activities and life and love coaching – all held by an array of dynamic keynote speakers and esteemed exhibitors sharing their expertise

  • How to Get on the News Without Committing Murder: 27March
    • March 27, 6PM-9PM @ Eclipse Theaters
    • Hosted by the National Association of Black Journalists – Las Vegas, come learn how to effectively communicate, how to write a news release, how and when to hold a press conference and more!

St. Patrick’s Day Events:

  • Fremont Street Experience
    • March 13-17 @ The entire Fremont Street Experience
    • No cost to enter the area FIVE DAYS OF FOOD, DRINK, MUSIC AND WTF
    • It will be VERY FESTIVE, and Adult oriented from about mid-afternoon on
  • St. Patrick’s Day Half Marathon
    • Family-friendly event and Athletes welcome with 1/2 marathon, 12k , 5k and 1 mile runs
    • Registration still open 
  • St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival Henderson
    • March 13-15 From Southern Nevada Sons and Daughters of Erin Free Admission. Carnival Requires Purchase Tickets
    • Parade – Saturday 10-noon
    • Car Show – Saturday, noon-6pm
